What You Will Be Doing Creating and piloting innovative programs that transcend traditional academics, emphasizing leadership, autonomy, and competition Constructing and validating a model campus, including staffing, space planning, and operational frameworks Crafting parent-focused communication strategies, market approaches, and growth blueprints to support expansion Establishing and disseminating quality benchmarks and cultural practices across all future campuses Representing the model publicly by enhancing visibility through media, events, and collaborations What You Won’t Be Doing Managing a conventional school setting with traditional classrooms and schedules Offering watered-down gifted programs with minimal challenges Implementing minor changes within existing educational frameworks—we aim to revolutionize, not repair Pursuing superficial engagement metrics—we prioritize substantial outcomes and profound learning experiences Working entirely remotely—you'll enjoy flexibility but will need to spend about a week each month in Austin to stay grounded Entrepreneur In Residence Key Responsibilities Lead the design, testing, and scaling of a high-performance school model for gifted students, beginning with a prototype campus and expanding to a national network. Basic Requirements Experience in building and scaling a high-impact venture from the ground up (experience in physical operations or education is a plus) A deep, personal connection to gifted education, whether through personal, professional, or lived experiences Proficiency in leveraging AI to enhance execution and decision-making Demonstrated ability to convey a powerful vision and convert skeptics into advocates U.S.-based with the ability to travel to Austin regularly (at least one week per month) Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship About Gt.school GT School is revolutionizing education with AI, expert coaching, and 50+ years of learning science.
