Associate Veterinarian – Heartstrings Pet Hospice

Heartstrings Pet Hospice is a privately owned, rapidly growing In-Home Euthanasia and End-of-Life care practice built on our core values of Compassion, Dignity, and Respect . We prioritize autonomy, transparency, and genuine partnership with every doctor on our team.

We are expanding into Boston , Northern Virginia / Washington DC , and the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area , and we are seeking exceptional veterinarians who feel called to support pets and families through some of life’s most meaningful moments.

As an Associate Veterinarian with Heartstrings Pet Hospice, you will provide compassionate, gentle in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care. You will be supported by a highly trained team, including Veterinary Care Specialists (VCS), our Chief Veterinary Officer, and a robust and supportive operational and administrative structure.

Every visit is focused on comfort, compassion, and helping families say goodbye with peace, dignity, and love.

• Provide in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care in a Gentle, Fear Free-aligned manner
• Engage with families empathetically and guide them through the end-of-life process
• Maintain clear, timely medical documentation
• Work collaboratively with our medical leadership and support teams
• Participate in ongoing medical education and training opportunities
